I am a global technology entrepreneur with a passion for building startups into successful companies.Currently I am building Amooz, a startup that will change the way restaurants and bars identify and interact with guests. Essentially, this is a digital loyalty program live on your web-enabled phone, no plastic cards to carry. We are live in private beta in London.

I am also non-executive Chairman of Reach.ly, the contextual search engine for big data. Reach.ly reaches beyond the limitations of simple keyword and Boolean search to provide actionable data, especially for Twitter and social media data.

As angel investor and mentor, I actively support the growing Baltic rim startup community. My particular focus is helping startups from my home base of Latvia reach European, American and ultimately global markets. As such, I am co-founder and Chairman of TechHub Riga, the first expansion location for TechHub from London.

Previously I have served in C-level positions, most recently at Livebookings, Europe’s leading provider of online marketing and reservations services to restaurants. Prior to that, I led business development and ran EMEA for AeroScout, a global provider of WiFi location solutions. I also worked at strategy consultcy Bain & Company in Boston and Stockholm.
